BAFM’s MISSION – BUILDING BLK JOY ECONOMIES

BLK ASS FLEA MKT exists to strengthen the creative and economic ecosystem of BLK makers and businesses by providing consistent opportunities, culturally rooted support, and a community-powered platform for growth.

That’s why for 2026, we’re offering ONE exclusive membership tier:

ABOUT “IN COUSINSHIP” VENDOR MEMBERSHIP

At BLK ASS FLEA MKT, we’re doing more than throwing markets. We’re building a BLK ASS ecosystem! Our 2026 Vendor Membership is for the makers, the hustlers, the innovators, and the culture shifters who show up with intention and pour into this community with their craft. We create spaces where BLK entrepreneurship is visible, celebrated, and sustainably nurtured through curated events, shared resources, and in Cousinship. Our mission is to ensure that BLK creatives have not just a moment, but a movement for success, connection, and impact. If you’re ready for consistency and a community that actually sees you, supports you, and amplifies your work, this membership is your home base!

Pricing: $750 Returning Members • $825 New Members

Monthly Visibility

  • 1 Monthly Member Spotlight (1 vendor featured per month across BAFM platforms)

Quarterly IG Lives

  • 3–4 featured members per live for story-sharing, product demos, and audience building

Membership Dates

MKT SZN: April 1 – November 30, 2026

  • Drip For Sale – April 25th
  • Charles’s Street Promenade Block Party – June 6th *
  • Juneteenth – June 19th
  • BLK ASS Family Reunion – August 22nd
  • BLK ASS Friday – November 27th

Member Agreement + Policies

Membership Overview

The BLK ASS FLEA MKT Vendor Membership Program is a 9-month collective designed to provide exposure, education, visibility, and community for participating businesses.

Membership Fees
  • Returning Members: $750
  • New Members: $825
  • Fees are non-refundable once accepted and enrolled.
Membership Dues
  • Payment Requirements: Membership dues must be paid in full by the specified payment due date.

Membership Payment Due:

Payment is due in full by February 1, 2026.

Payment Plans Available:

50% is due within 10 days of approval, with the remaining 50% due by February 1, 2026.

  • If a member enrolls in a payment plan and fails to submit payment by the scheduled due date, the initial down payment will be forfeited.
Refunds & Cancellations

No refunds after acceptance. If a vendor voluntarily leaves the program, membership is forfeited. Membership dues must be paid in full by the specified payment due date. Unpaid dues will result in the forfeiture of membership status and associated benefits.

  • Non-Refundable Policy: All membership dues are non-refundable, regardless of usage or termination circumstances
Member Responsibilities
Members agree to:

  • Provide all necessary information for spotlights on time.
  • Participate in at least 1 Member Live or Mixer.
  • Maintain professional conduct within the member chat channel.
  • Create and share content for BAFM MKT/membership participation across all socials.
BAFM Commitments
BAFM commits to:

  • Deliver all benefits listed in the membership sheet.
  • Provide 30-day timelines for directory updates, spotlights, and live scheduling.
  • Communicate clearly regarding all membership updates.
Spotlight Usage & Rights
  • BAFM may use spotlight content across social channels and use at their discretion for their own marketing.
  • Vendors may repurpose spotlight content for their own marketing.
Event Policies
  • Discounts apply only to select BAFM-produced events and designated partner markets.
Product Eligibility
  • The following product categories are ineligible for BAFM membership: hot food, health/supplements/CBD/THC products, drop-shipped items, and in-person services. BAFM reserves the right to assess product eligibility upon application.
Removal Policy

BAFM reserves the right to dismiss a member at its discretion. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:

  • Inappropriate, harmful, or unsafe behavior.
  • Failure to comply with membership guidelines
  • Repeated non-responsiveness that disrupts shared programming.
  • Any conduct deemed inappropriate by the BAFM team.
